While doing his graduate work, Dr. Gaudino was the recipient of a prestigious Ford Foundation Pre-Doctoral Fellowship. Dr. Gaudino then went on to do his postdoctoral training at Washington University in St. Louis, working on elucidating the growth control of the ribosomal genes of higher organisms. While doing his post-doctoral work, Dr. Gaudino was also awarded a USDA post doctoral fellowship, also considered a prestigious award. Dr. Gaudino's post-doctoral work has been published in the journals Molecular and Cellular Biology and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
Dr. Gaudino has experience in both intellectual property litigation and procurement. Dr. Gaudino began working in the patent field following his post-doctoral training. At Lyon and Lyon, LLP, he served as a litigation consultant and eventually became the lead scientific advisor on several high profile patent infringement lawsuits.
